A Catholic College in the Dominican tradition since 1925, it is set on 50 beautiful acres in historic New Haven, Connecticut. This four year, private, Liberal Arts College is small by design and personal in nature. It is able to offer students a high degree of individual attention. The College has approximately 500 full-time undergraduate students and a faculty with a primary focus on teaching. Our student/faculty ratio is 13:1; and over ninety percent of our faculty hold a Ph.D or equivalent. Our small size supports what we define as an ideal education: the close association and collaboration among teachers and students. Albertus Magnus College offers more than 50 undergraduate majors, minors, and concentrations, with pre-professional preparation and seven graduate programs. Some of our majors include Art Therapy, Business, Criminal Justice, Education, Psychology, and Sport Management. An engaged student body complements our academic resources. The College has over 25 active clubs and organizations, many on and off campus activities, and trips to New England attractions. Albertus also offers 14 NCAA Division III athletics teams, the Act2 Theater, Campus Pub, a state-ofthe-art athletic center and turf field, and many opportunities to volunteer in New Haven. Albertus Magnus College offers competitive academic scholarships and grants. Scholarships and grants are offered to incoming freshman, transfer, and returning students with a 3.2 G.P.A. or higher. To receive your optimum scholarship package, apply no later than March 15th. Social and intellectual stimulation is also created by the surrounding community. Nearly 20,000 college students call New Haven home. With quick and easy connections to metro New York, Boston, and Providence, it’s a great place to learn and an excellent springboard to explore the world. A visit to our campus is the best way to see how well you would fit in to this unique academic community. We encourage all prospective students to schedule a personal campus tour by calling the Office of Admission at 800-578-9160. Special University Supplement • Cause Magazine
